Institutes of Biomedical Sciences at Fudan
University (IBS in short
hereinafter) invites applications for PI positions at the Assistant, Associate,
and Full Professor levels.
Guided by the latest International Biomedical
development and driven by needs arising from state developing strategies, IBS
aims to becoming an original interdisciplinary research facility with a highly
integration of Biology, Clinical and Fundamental Medicine. As a modern
biomedical institute, IBS carries out innovative administration and follows
international pattern.
Areas of
interest include, but are not limited to: Structural Biology, Molecular
Genetics, System Biology, Proteomics, Stem
Cell, Cancer research, Cardio-Brain Vascular Disease, Infectious Disease and
Public Health etc. We offer an excellent starting up package and a highly
stimulating research environment. The successful applicants are expected to
participate in departmental education programs and establish an active,
independent, and externally funded research projects.

II.
Director of Research
Institute or center
Requirements:
1. Either an internationally famous
professor or an eminent scholar recognized by the academic society, a director
candidate should have magnificent academic achievement with global recognition
and ranks among world’s leading scientists, and have a number of academic
papers published by related SCI Journals, and they are intensively quoted and
have significant impact of development on the related academic realm.
2. Having forward-thinking
perspectives and strategic insights into academic growth and development of
related disciplines, and being capable of work out developing plan
initiatively in terms of discipline along with research projects, additionally,
being capable of proposing those research subjects that have significant
influence on the front-edge of related discipline’s development as well as
national economy by mastering a great deal of knowledge of dynamic
nature of contemporary sciences and technology.
3. Possessing managerial skills and
competency of consolidating and heading sizable multi-disciplines team to work
together. And also be committed to achieve leading role in related academic
area, or even to surpass world-class counterparts.
4. Having the experience of senior
management (those candidates that have experience and charisma in leading a
department, college, key lab, or key multi-national research projects) or of
undertaking senior position in an international academic organizations are
preferable.
5. Of good health, conduct and
morality along with academic ethic.
6. No restrict on nationality, ,
working time is 9 months or above.
III. Senior PI
Requirements:
1. Applicants should hold a Ph.D.
degree, and are expected to have demonstrated excellence in innovative research
and show the capability of leading research team to such research on
front-edge.
2. Having organized or been mainly
involved in the key state-level research program or plan or major international
cooperative projects with remarkable achievement recognized by peers in related
academic area from home and abroad.
3. Having influential research papers
published by SCI Journals with wide recognition in the related academic area
that have significant impact on development of the related academic area and
were intensively cited.
4. Ministry of Education ’s “Chueng
Kong Promote Plan” Scholar (including visiting professors) and “National
Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholar” winners and/or candidates are
preferable;
5. Of good health, conduct and
morality along with academic ethic and team spirits.
6. No restrict on nationality, working
time is 9 months or above.
IV. Junior PI
Requirements:
1. Candidates must have an earned
doctoral degree and at least 2 years’ postdoctoral experience with considerable
influences on related academic area, and be competent of conducting research
work on international front-edge.
2. Having been involved in important
research program and/or founded research projects and/or international
cooperative research projects, and having achieved important results
acknowledged by the peers form home and abroad.
3. Having research papers published by
SCI Journals in related academic area with important influence acknowledged by
peers on the progress and development of the related area.
4. Of good health, conduct and
morality along with academic ethic and team spirits.
5. No restrict on nationality, working
time is 9 months or above.
V.
Senior Technical
Personnel
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree (or above) holder with a good command of key technology
on international front-edge in related area, and being competent of managing
mass-scale advanced instruments and equipments as well as providing technical
support for Institute’s open technical facilities.
2. Having been involved in the key state-level research projects with
achievements acknowledged by peers from home and broad.
3. Having research papers published by SCI Journals in related area with
influence on the progress and development of related area (first author, or
corresponding author).
4. Of good health, conduct and morality along with academic ethic and team
spirits;
5. No restrict on nationality, working time is 10 months or above.
VI. Salary and Housing Allowance
Highest competitive salaries (including housing allowance) in the country
will be provided depending on the qualifications and experience of the
successful applicant.

二、招聘要求
(一)研究所所长或中心主任
1. 国际著名教授或同领域公认的知名学者,学术造诣高深,学术水平在国际同领域处于领先地位,取得过国际公认的重要成就,在本专业领域SCI刊物上发表过一系列对本领域发展具有重要影响力并被同行认可和引用的学术论文;
2. 在学科建设上具有前瞻性、战略性的眼光,对学科建设和学术研究工作有创新性构想,能够把握国际科学发展的脉络,提出对学科前沿或国民经济发展有重大影响的研究课题;
3. 具有凝聚多学科协同作战,引领相关学科群赶超或保持国际领先水平的能力;
4. 具有管理工作经历(有领导一个系、学院、实验室,领军跨国合作的重大科研攻关项目者),或在国际学术机构中担任重要职务者优先考虑;
5. 身体健康,品德与学术道德良好;
6. 应聘者国籍不限,工作时间要求在9个月以上。
(二)高年资PI
1. 具有博士学位,在国内外学术界有较大影响,从事本领域的国际前沿研究,并有能力领导研究团队从事前沿研究;
2. 主持过或主要参加过重大科研计划和项目、大型国际合作项目,在相关学术领域已取得了被国内外同行专家公认的突出成果;
3. 在本专业领域SCI刊物上发表过对本领域发展具有重要影响力并被同行认可和引用的学术论文;
4. 已获得或有潜力获得特聘教授(含讲座教授)(包括教育部长江学者奖励计划或复旦特聘教授计划)、或国家杰出青年基金获得者优先考虑;
5. 身体健康,具有良好的品德、学术与科研道德,以及团队合作精神;
6. 应聘者国籍不限,工作时间要求9个月以上。
(三)低年资PI
1. 具有博士学位和博士后经历,在国内外学术界开始有一定影响,能够从事本领域的国际前沿研究;
2. 参加过重要的科研计划和基金项目、国际合作项目,在相关学术领域已取得了被国内外同行专家公认的重要成果;
3. 在本专业领域SCI刊物上发表过对本领域发展具有重要影响力并被同行认可和引用的学术论文;
4. 独立研究能力并有实验室领导经历者优先考虑;
5. 身体健康,具有良好的品德、学术与科研道德,以及团队合作精神;
6. 应聘者国籍不限,工作时间要求在9个月以上。
(四)高级工程师
1. 具有本科以上学历,掌握本领域国际前沿关键技术,能够管理本领域的大型先进研究仪器设备以及科研技术平台,并提供技术支持;
2. 参加过国家级重要科研计划和项目,在相关学术领域已取得了被国内外同行专家公认的成果;
3. 在本专业领域SCI刊物上发表过对本领域发展具有影响力并被同行认可和引用的学术论文(主要作者);
4. 身体健康,具有良好的品德、学术与科研道德,以及团队合作精神;
5. 应聘者国籍不限,工作时间要求在10个月以上。
三、考核和运转方式
按照国际考核标准和超于国际常规标准运转:进入ABC滚动制的前两年不参加评估(仅提交年度报告),第三年开始进入评估。以过去5年的年平均成绩(不足五年的以已有年份的平均成绩)作为评估依据。连续两届被评为B类,第三届开始进入tenure track,若第四届以后仍是B,继续保持在tenure
track状态;或在被评为A后的第一届改为tenure状态;在被评估的第二届或从为tenure
track状态变为C时,但仍保留一年C状态薪酬过渡到双聘的第二单位状态。在开始状态为A时,如果连续一届为A,在新的一届可进入tenure状态,但以后的薪酬仍与A、B、C滚动机制捆绑。
四、工资和住房待遇
根据应聘岗位,提供全国大专院校和研究机构中最具有竞争力的薪酬、福利与住房待遇。
